When, aged 19, he started learning the basics of a computer sequencer, remixing seemed the natural way to practice, and gradually Pete got a foothold in the art. After receiving a show reel second hand, an impressed Yousef got in touch and asked Pete to remix Tyra’s Other Woman, which was later released on Shaboom, alongside mixes from Yousef himself and Tom Findlay of Groove Armanda.

The beats, bass and chord stabs all have one common theme: to make you shake your butt. The track retains a warmness throughout and brilliantly placed spoken vocals add to its strong hooks – purveyors of fine house may notice a slight nod towards David Duriez’s seminal “House & Blend”.
Continue reading...Maxim Saidashev, Egor Belov & Konstantin Lyubimov make up Luckystars, a unique and creative band whose tracks are revolutionising the Russian electronic scene and are making waves in Europe and beyond. Their fresh approach to producing distinguishes their music from the mass of listless music boring clubbers across the globe – each and every track is saturated with unrestrained energy, intelligent harmonies and an accumulation of emotions. Most recently Luckystars have seen releases on the UK’s ever impressive Urbantorque imprint and Germany’s Conya.

Together Debs and Christina create a unique and original sound – think Inland Knights, The Littlemen and DiY with a dose of Chi-town flavour and you begin to understand what the Timeless Banditz sound is all about.

Once again tight beats and bass lead, this time paving the way for a Hawaiian influenced xylophone groove and a vocal that will shock once you decipher the words!
