A1. Phil Weeks Robsoul Mix
B1. Original Mix
B2. Pete Dafeet Remix

Tommy Largo hails from Arnhem in The Netherlands. He discovered house music in 1986 after originally being drawn into the world of crate digging for disco records in '83. Tommy says “I didn't have much to spend so I bought all these great disco records that I could afford for as cheap as possible.” It's a story familiar to producers the world over. Since then Tommy has secured residencies across The Netherlands, presents a weekly radio show and has released on the Phood and Southside Shuffle imprints, with more to come on Household and Herbal Essence.

The original mix of “Come On” is firmly rooted in the sound of acid house; an infectious melody, bumping bassline and punchy beats build and build the track to a sublime sqelchy tech-tinged breakdown, before the acid is reintroduced. Phil Weeks requires no introduction, world renowned for his Robsoul label and just about any other house label worth mentioning. Phil mix tweaks the melody and the addition of his devastating trademark sub bass and keys take it to another level. Perfect arrangement and intricate beats means the track never stops building. Lost My Dog's own Pete Dafeet provides the other mix, a stripped back techy affair with superbly programmed percussion and a reworked vocal.

Magazine Reviews

iDJ Mag - November 2005 4/5 **Recommended**
Pete Dafeet's label has been simmering for quite some time now. This could be when it reaches boiling point because as Midlands headnodding house goes it's got the lot. Dutchman Largo's original sets the scene with a deep sulking bass and class old skool acid line. Dafeet's remix is suitably old skool too, more angular and with a serious 808 breakdown. Best though is Phil Weeks' Robsoul Mix. If you thought acid house couldn't be beautiful you're in for a real shock. 4/5 (JT)

DJ Mag – Oct 2005 4/5
Phil Weeks initiates the set with his mix, a mix that's a limbering up process in readiness for the harder workout that awaits us on the flip. A majestic bumping pace is gently nosed by understated acid house vibrations, mumbling deep and low in the grain of the mix. Fragile keys start to bellow over the acid vibageeee, which are held rigidly at bay, like and angry Pit Bull on a leash. The ‘Original' and ‘Pete Dafeet Remix' are bold, brash and definitely 100% genuine undiluted acid house music, the sound I find myself being drawn to ever closer week by week. Solid stuff with plenty of balls. 4/5 (YH)

iDJ – October 2005 4/5
The LMD Crew have recruited Tommy the Dutch devil for this rather stripped down slice of cracking acid house laced with deliciously wet synths on the breakdown. On a remix tip Phil Weeks applies the Robsoul treatment, adding some soul cleansing synths…one for the dancefloor dreamers! Finally Pete Dafeet gets on a more robotic groove with an infectious acid hook. Quality! 4/5 (LN)

Thanks for the dope trax! Tommy's original mix does it nicely for me. Pete's low-end stomper is recking the subs. All around dope record.

Really cool! Proper old school melancholy + understated acid house. Will make sense over a big system with all that sub!! Definite airplay at next gigs + radio.
