Roseroice is the meeting between 2 guys whose activities and origins are different: Timothée's background is as a DJ and Kapzy's as a computer engineer. The pair bonded over a love of electronic music and decided to begin producing. This is something they have done to great effect and their work has received wide acclaim. The first tracks appeared on San Antonio 's "Inhale Music" in March 2005 followed shortly after by a release on the Sound Navigator's imprint "Soul Fuel Recordings", featuring a remix from Don Tinsley of "Urban Jazz Naturals". Roseroice's first appearance on Lost My Dog will arrive in the Summer of 2005 as the label's fourth release.
Why Roseroice? Because they're inspired by Soul, Funk and Disco and they just want to pay a tribute to the music of the 80's: The Ojay's, Thelma Houston, Shalamar, Midnight Star, Funkadelic, Diana Ross, Chic, Rose Royce...
DJ Timothée has been playing since 1996. He began his career on the radio and then moved into organising his own parties which brought him recognition and expanded his contacts. He was able to invite and play with famous names like Raoul Belmans, Janel Roland, Smith Davis, Greenskeepers, Moodlex, Prinz, Isabel, Murvin Jay, Lullabies, Massimo Dacosta, Miss Sandra, Smos and Baby Bee.
With the blend of dedication, motivation and talent, DJ Timothée graced the decks in the best French and Belgium clubs. He can often be found spinning alongside his childhood friend and long time partner under the Double T moniker.
Still at only 21 years of age, DJ Timothée spends his time between Roseroice and the organisation of new parties (KGB PARTY) where he has invited special guests such as Kelvin K, Jerome Pacman, Dan Ghenacia, David Duriez and Ludovic Llorca.
