Jake Childs requires very little introduction to the more discerning house ear. With releases on leading labels including Drop Music, Freerange and Doubledown, not to mention his own Uni.form imprints, he has taken the house world by storm over the past few years. We're delighted to release this EP from the Houston house hero, a record we've been talking to Jake about for some time. Lil' Mark is drafted in for remix duties and notches up another of his full sounding yet stripped back jackers.

YSE aka Ant Plate is one half of deep house superstar combo Rhythm Plate. Hailing from the beautifully backward peak district town of Matlock, in Derbyshire, Plate constantly varies in age and when not making music sells deep house insurance. Rhythm Plate began recording their efforts on a borrowed 8-track tape player down in the local bus station. After conquering the bourgeoning village hall/pub scene in Matlock they set their sights on taking over the Midlands through collaborations with Mantis, DiY, Winding Road, Flat & Round and Procreation, in the process finding the transpeak bus service a particularly useful way of getting to gigs.
